Title: First Check Point, Leeds, Yorks. Post by vinyamar777 on Apr 21st, 2006 at 1:09pm
I'm looking for a cheaper option option to First Check Point's 0870 013 27 27 number. A West Sussex branch use 0190 377 10 23, but wish Leeds followed suit.
They are linked to Trading Standards, Consumer Support Networks (CSN), & CASAC Partnership. Their fax is 0113 293 74 00, & land address is 23 Shakespear Close, LS9 7UQ. |

192.com quotes the 0870 and fax you give at the Shakespeare Close address. It also gives another address and telephone:
FIRST CHECK POINT LEEDS 82-83 THE PARADE LEEDS LS9 8HL Tel 0113 2452451 |

Thanks, but I'm unsure. I tried the number and did not get a "hello, First Check Point" reply, but something to do with "Hello, Recall...".
Maybe they need an 0870 to keep open this service.... They certainly hide it well, I think. Checking with 192.com I think I may be mixed postcode with company. "First Check Point" LS9 8HL has the number you give, while "First Check Point" LS9 7UQ a mile away has only a fax & 0870. I suspect that FCP is a dept. within a larger office, only taking calls via 0870. They phoned us back from 0113 3805650, but when we used this we got a totally different name. |

Where have you got this information from? Do they have a website? Is it operated by the council? A Google of "0113 293 7400" gives a couple of hits. See the two on clickajob.co.uk. ;) |

How many businesses are likely to be run from a church hall?
The address corresponds with info already supplied, so the name is given to match that address, and the number to match the name. Both organisations are for the blue rinse army. |

It's rather confusing, but there is a First Check Point at the 23, St. Agnes Church Hall,
Shakespeare Close, address. I think they keep the real number dead quiet, while phoning out on a number that if you phone back gets a welcome from a different department. Thanks guys for trying - I will probably try the Leeds 248 9191 number tomorrow and hope I get a "Hello First Check Point" welcome. |

This number is at CASAC Partnership, which was mentioned in the OP. |

Calling the 0870 answers with a message saying that "You've reached Kate at Checkpoint." Dialling around nearby numbers reveals the number you're after (i.e. answering with the same message) is 0113 3805646. ;) |
