The contact page gives 0845 telephone and fax numbers.
Ace Internet
Houldsworth Mill
Houldsworth Street
Reddish
Stockport
SK5 6DA

Tel 0845 6388955
Fax: 0845 6388956

Where have you got the 0870 number from? ...... I've just searched 192.com and it's listed on there. Is it given anywhere else?

Same address, but using the 0870 is shown here
http://www.bcentral.co.uk/consultant/detail/318cc115/Ace-Internet.mspx
and on 192

UK Info, 192, Google and BT can offer nothing better.
At least these can be eliminated from future searches

Hi

Sorry to drag up an old topic - it was spotted a few weeks ago and I set things in motion :).

We realise that some customers no longer prefer to contact us on an 0845 number. This is because a lot of people have free or inclusive geographical calls.

Because we are a telco, we do not have a "real number" masked behind our 0845 number.

It is because of this, we have provisioned a new geographic number that customers can contact us on.

In addition, we now also accept calles via VOIP with major providers having direct call numbers for us, but we also have a SIP address for people to call us on free of charge.

Details of both these can be seen side by side at http://www.ace-internet.co.uk/contact.html

We hope this will help.

Kind Regards

Steve

I wish many companies followed your example.

However, please don't describe the 0845 number as "local rate" on the website.

Ofcom, the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) and Trading Standards have agreed that describing any number beginning 084x/087x as either 'local rate' or 'national rate' is misleading.

Hi Lompos

I will certainly take your concerns on board and see what I can do tomorrow.

Kind Regards
