Title: Manchester UNited Football Club Post by victoria777 on May 14th, 2006 at 8:37pm
Hi!
I wonder if anyone can help me? I've tried all the advice given to find a phone number but no luck so far. I'm looking for MUFC's ticket information number the one they give out is 0870 757 1968 If you have to ring it regualrly and they keep you on for a good few minutes every time, it costs a small fortune! Manchester is 0161, but there doesnt seem to be any straight to the ticket information line and I don't think i could get away with phoning switchboard every time i wanted to buy a ticket because it would be nearly every week during the season and sometimes more. MUFC postcode is M16 0RA If you help me anyone, i would be eternally grateful! Thanks V |

I do all my MUFC ticket buying online now- much easier (and cheaper). http://www.manutd.com/tickets I was getting sick of listening to radio commentary from the 1999 Champ league final over & over again while on hold..!

192.com search reveals:
Switchboard: 0161 868 8000 (in the database already) Cafe: 0161 868 8303 Megastore: 0161 868 8567 The chances are neither of those numbers will transfer you to the ticket line because they'll be wise to this. The best chance you've got, if you do want to ring them, is try numbers from 0161 868 8000 upwards. So try random numbers beginning 0161 868 8xxx and you may get their ticket line. |

Unfortunately, 0161 868 8020 receives the "The number you have dialled has not been recognised" treatment.

Just got an alternative number for Man United Website 0161 8688000 but it took me straight to their switchboard where they advised me to ring the 08704421999 number. not sure what else I could do so It still cost me money as I had to ring back. please advise

I have joined your post onto the existing thread for Man U. What is this number for? If it's for tickets, are they sold by the club or do they use an outside provider such as TicketMaster? If it's in house, then I suggest that the direct number for the box office will be similar to the switchboard: 0161 86880xx and maybe higher depending on how many extensions they have. A quick glance of the terms and conditions doesn't reveal anything to suggest that the club has a third party sell its tickets. So the 0870 is probably routed directly to the ground, and the switchboard operatives are presumably under orders not to put fans through to the ticket office. |

I'm after the geographcal numbers for 0870 442 1999 and 1994 please. Despite searching both this site and the web i've not been able to locate them. The suggested numebr of 0161 868 8000 isn't any help unfortunately
Many thanks in advance |
