I keep getting the same calls. There is nobody there when you answer and when I tried calling them back a voice said "This is New Logic Communications, sorry to have missed you if you want to stop these calls please press one" Needless to say I didn't, I've reported it to O2 will post conclusion if I get one.

I think that you have encountered the dreaded predictive dialler.  Call centres have systems that make a call automatically and then find a salesman to talk to you - but sometimes all the salesmen are busy, so you get a blank call.  They probably want to sell you a new mobile phone package with ooh, lots of inclusive minutes and a free handset - same as everyone else.

sorry to raise an old thread.

I've had about 6 calls from this number if the last few days - as soon as i heard it ringing once i picked up i hung up.

I then googled the number and found this forum.

Finally I answered one of them to tell them to stop calling and hopefully they will. Might call o2 and let them know this is still a problem.

I found out yesterday, that this 0845 number and the resulting
"blank" calls ARE computer generated, and that .......

I spoke to a very nice and helpful chap and I pointed out how VERY angry
I was becoming with this problem and he assured me that he had removed
my number and I would get no further "marketing" calls at all.  :)

I was getting 3 / 4 calls a day - which have now stopped !

I received a call from this number on my mobile, but when I answered it, nobody replied.  Does anybody out there know who it might be?  I don't want to ring it back without knowing who I'm ringing.

Put 08450020012 into Google and the answer is there.

It is telecoms related marketing.

Google reveals it is a company wanting to sell you mobile phone insurance, or a new contract, or something equally tedious.

That  number is for this outfit - LBM Direct Marketing. They cold call people trying to sell products for their associated suppliers (Sky and Carphone Warehouse have been mentioned). Their website is http://www.lbm.co.uk/ and give the customer service number 0800 013 6675. Give them a bell (keep the on the line so you can waste their money :D) and complain.

I've also added the number to the database for people who keep trying to search for it - can an admin confirm it please?

The Call was from the Carphone Warehouse the O2 team apparently, though they didnt tell me anything I didnt know already.

I now see that the number 08450020012 has been now added to the Database, when I originally searched it could not find it on the "Saynoto0870.com"

Though I did find it on Google later on in the Day

Evenually I managed to anwer the call - it had been the 5th time they called in the last 2 days! hence the request on this site
