A text search option and a goto page option in the forums wouldn't half save some time.

Dave, there is a text search page for the forums here. It is available on the blue bar at the top, inbetween Help and Members.

What do you mean by go to page?

I looked more than once for the search option but still missed it.

Go to then insert the forum page number you want to go to. I presume postings are ordered within category by date so if you know roughly when it was posted you ca go right to or close to the page directly.

Yes, you can.

There are a few search options that you may like to explore such as the length of time to search back and whether to search thread titles only and/or text within the messages. ;)
