Does anyone have the geographical number for a firm of debt collectors called ROXBURGHE ? :(

They only provide the number on their headed paper - 0870 7446250. A pretty good reason not to phone them.

There is no web page for them, so no URL. Their registered address is Roxburghe (UK) Ltd, Kings Parade, Lower Coombe St, Croydon, Surrey, CRO 1AA Their correspondence address is at PO Box 342, Lavender Park Road, West Byfleet, Surrey, KT14 6YX.

I have no idea what 'oesany' is. I did not put that in there, so I do not know where that came from :-?

There is only one firm listed against that Postcode in Kings Parade:

It's a firm of accountants so possibly connected but there's no mention of Roxburgh on their website (http://www.bryden-johnson.co.uk/)

I received another call yesterday afternoon from some 16 year old
claiming to be from (Whites?) solicitors representing their clients
Roxburgh debt collectors. Interesting conversation, because I got quite
a rapport going with the lad and found out this solicitors company
actually shares offices and staff with the debt collection agency.

Using 192 for whites solicitors gives a few, obviously, but some seem to stand out.

Well done! How did you come across this site? What sites do Internet Archive cover, and is their information up to date?  I googled but all I came up with was the firm's website with the same details shown on their correspondence sent to me.

Internet Archive Wayback Machine is at [url=www.archive.org[/url]]www.archive.org[/url] and it takes snapshots of websites. Another member on these forums mentioned it. It can prove very useful, providing a company hasn't had its 'old' geographical numbers cut off.

Providing that it has archived a particular page/website, you can see what it used to look like. Have a look at Roxburghe.

Try entering some web addresses into it.  ;)

Yes, it did the trick thanks. Incidentally I was contacted today (on my ex directory home number) by that notorious firm of solicitors Graham White, mentioned by an earlier poster in a link to all of this. Curiouser and curiouser.

Can I ask a question! I had a message on my home phone today from this company - who the hell are they and what do they want??? As far as I know I don't owe anyone any money!!

Take a look at this forum (for parking tickets etc).

Graham White Solicitors/Roxburgh seem to be a rather dodgy collective, to say the least.

In that example, these tickets (as with all PRIVATE parking tickets) are virtually unenforceable.
