Hi,

I really need to find the company that own this number as i'm been billed for it from my fax line sometimes for 20 mins at a time but i don't ever dial the number. I have searched on google but with no sucess. Can anybody help?

What else do you have on the line, apart from your fax machine?

Just the fax machine. It isn't internet or streamline because i have them on separate lines.

Does you fax machine have a log of all calls made, and if so, is this number on the list?

No my fax machine doesn't hold a record. I got the information from my telephone supplier.

I had this too on my recent BT bill.  I tracked it down to being a Nildram (gotadsl) dial up number.  Nildram in my ISP and whilst I cannot remember exactly we were establishing ways of dialling up from my laptop to Nildram directly ahead of a holiday.  We think we connected the laptop to the BT phone line exceptionally. Not 100% sure but close enough for us to stop thinking it was a scam! Are you on Nildram as well?
