Donhost is part of Pipex.

0800 956 7642 IS AN INCORRECT NUMBER
01302 539601 doesn't belong to any company
donhost, although it belongs to pipex, you can't get through them via the main switchboard
the tech support number I am after

i have tried 0115 9170000 ...just tried option 3 and they donhost have only 0870... they won't release the other...is there a way of forcing them?

The 0800 number I provided was in use by Donhost, as looking at Donhost's website on the Internet Archive shows. Unfortunately, they have always (well since November 2000) provided 0870 741 4151 for international callers, so I think that they will have their 01302 number under wraps. :-X

This number is at a private address of the Conlons.

I can't find a geographical number, however if you go here http://www.donhost.co.uk/contact/ there are two email addresses which may be of use to you. You could always email them and even ask them for their geographical number

Maybe not but it is worth a try.

Remember if you have a BT landline and depending which option you are on, a call to a 0870 number is 'free'.
