I am trying to find an alternative number for the above.   As they are basically an online insurance sales operation, the number they give for queries is 0871 226 3909 and they charge £5 extra if you use the phone rather than the net.   When we insured our son's possessions last year, it was fine so tried to renew today which I did then it tells you to print & keep the details but gives no way of doing so! I tried every button on the computer (nearly) & nothing works, I tried the "queries" link to email them requesting a copy of the details but that was returned as undeliverable!

The full sales details say they are a "trading style" of UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited with an address of Bank House, Warwick Street, Manchester M25 3HN.   I tried googling but everything just took me back to the website, the one that won't let me print the details and gives the 0871 number!   If anyone could help I would be most grateful.

My initial searches have revealed the following:-

The FSA register has the 0161 928 4444
Cover4students' own FSA pages here have 0161 772 3373 has a contact number for complaints.

I would try these numbers and maybe numbers in the nearby region.

Failing that then their website lists two email address that I could see callme@cover4students.com and enquiries@cover4students.com.  The latter one I think you tried but the callme email address is for you to enter your number and they will (well should) ring you back.

The other way to print out the screen is to use Alt + "Print Screen"
Then paste the contents as a picture into a graphics program.
Long winded, but it does work

Is the problem that it opens a pop-up window with no menubar? In Firefox I can press Ctrl-P to print the current window, even if there's no menu. (It works for the quote page on cover4students.com). Ctrl-P is also the shortcut for printing in Internet Explorer, so perhaps you can try that.

In general, I'd recommend switching to Firefox. Internet Explorer lets website authors control what you can do on your own computer! And that simply isn't on.

Thank you everyone for your replies.   The first tel no gets through & gives the cover4 option but the woman then refers you to the 0871 no (told her I could not phone premium rate nos so she promised to ask them to ring - guess what?   no call so far!)   However, I did receive an email saying they post out confirmation of policy details within 10 days so hope that will arrive.   If not, I will try the no given for complaints.....!   Will note the suggestions for printing when not given a menu!
