Title: Panasonic do not seem to answer their free number
Post by aaaashy on Oct 12th, 2006 at 12:44pm
i have just called Panasonic on the alternative to the mobile phone number

after waiting for 10 minutes, which being assaulted by repeat musak from soime trashy tv program from the 80's (i think it was the A-Team), i had reached 2nd in the queue (all the way from 3rd!!!)

i then moved to first, and the soundtrack immediately went silent, i talked to myself to indicate to anyone answering the phone from their end, that i was actually there, i got one sudden ringing tone and then received the classic line (the caller at the other end has cutoff, or somesuch)

altho not entirely unexpected, it was pretty annoying to be cutoff after waiting for 10+ minutes

do panasonic do this often??

would be interested to hear of others experiences

they have now completely disconnected that line

i have tried to call it twice, and i get 'half' a ring and my call is suddenly cutoff

if there is some sort of higher level blacklist for panasonic, this should go up on it

btw i had to call 08700 100076, not sure what i called as the alternative, since i am on another page answering this email

Possibly, the 'free' / geographic number was unpublished and wasn't meant to be used for incoming calls?
