What is the geographical number you phone? What page did you find it on? Did you find it on Talk Talk's website? Or is it one listed on Say no to 0870? Search Say no to 0870 for Talk Talk (note the space in between the two words). ;) |

I have
01925 554949 and 01925 554989 for talktalk customer services when I sent a snotty letter to them. |

hi, did search for a thread like this but haven't found one ..
just thought i'd mention that two of the numbers given in the search for talktalk no longer work. 01925 554932 listed as cancellations is just unobtainable 0800 0491010 sends you to a recorded message telling you to ring an 0870 number, then hangs up |

Do any of the other TalkTalk numbers no longer work? Or is it just those two that don't work?

Have been told TalkTalk customers can contact customer services free on 0870 444 1820 (calls are free when made from a registered TalkTalk number). This came from a sales person flogging talktalk in a supermarket! She showed me details on talktalk literature so assume this is true, but unsure why they would pick an 0870 number.

It is true that the 0870 number is free to call from a TalkTalk registered landline. I assume the reason for using an 0870 number is that if your phone line is down, it costs you a bomb to call them and they get a nice little revenue stream from it.

I've found that other Talk Talk 0870 numbers are also free when dialled from a Talk Talk line, eg. their Broadband support numbers 0870 0873527 and 0870 087 5562. I don't think this is a trade secret. |
