I wish to speak to them about details of renewing my car insurance.
I've tried all the suggestions for searching without success to find an alternative to the 0870 number.

Have a look at http://www.aegis-insurance.co.uk/, is this the same company?

Is the policy underwritten by another company and if so, which one?

It may be same company but not in Bradford. I did find this on the web. Policy is underwritten by Equity Red Star but couldn't find a number for them either.
