Icesave is a trading style of Landsbanki Islands hf in Iceland.
They have a freepost PO address of Freepost RRBE-YYSB-EJBU, Icesave, PO Box 1164, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE99 1DG But they are registered with the FSA and Companies House as: Beaufort House, 15 St Botolph Street, London, EC3A 7QR A 192.com search, BT DQ search, Internet Archive search returned nothing. The press-pack (media) contact has 020 7518 3000 but the corresponding email is @heritable.co.uk. Looking at the webaddress www.heritable.co.uk reveals its Heritable Bank and their parent company is the same as IceSave's. You could try the media contact number above stating that you're calling from outside the country and can't dial 0845 numbers and could they transfer you (this may not be possible) or do they have a geographical number that starts with 01 or 02 for them. Alternatively, fill in IceAge's online contact us form and state that your outside the UK and are trying to call them but you can't dial 0845 numbers so could they be so kind to provide a geographical number beginning 01 or 02. I'm not sure if their call centre is based in the UK or not or if its outsourced but there again the number for the media contact (above) may be them though. Please come back and let us know how you get on. |

Send them a message from their website asking them to call you back.
https://online.icesave.co.uk/ofis/contact/contact-us.asp Or call them during the evening or at the weekend for 4p connection and ½p/minute using www.18185.co.uk. |

Landsbanki Commercial Finance
Beaufort House St Botolph Street London EC3A 7QR Telephone 020 7866 5106 E-mail marketing@cf.landsbanki.com Perhaps this could help Landsbanki's telephone Service Centre, (+354) 410 4000 But don't you really mean that you want Icesave, as Landsbanki is the parent company, and unlikely to redirect, in the same way that Bank Of Scotland are unlikely to redirect to Halifax. However they appear to be hidden nicely. 192 has no listing, Google Icesave and 0191 gives no results. If the 2 numbers I gave can help then great, otherwise sorry. |

Have also been looking for NGN of ICESAVE.
Called their 020 7866 5106 number - and very helpful they were too. BUT, they did not provide the required 0191 number, However, somebody from 0191 called here and all was sorted. Aksed for the NGN number - they do not have one!! They suggested email be used. 1471 gave "the caller with held their number" :( |

If it was witheld, how did you know it was 0191, other than the accent?

Logical question vnm.
Guess it was all the correspondence here being from Newcastle upon Tyne ;). OK, could be somewhere else, but very doubtful. |

Just because it is based in Newcastle does not mean that its staff are geordies or, if they are, that they have geordie accents. Iit is probable that icesave has a call centre in Sunderland. There are many in Sunderland, which also has 0191 numbers. I am not very good at telling them apart but people tell me that the Newcastle and Sunderland accents are very different. You must have to have specially tuned ears :-).

0191 255 XXXX gets you through to Icesave. It can be a long wait but the staff are as helpful as they can be within their more rigid than most ISA rules.
At the time of writing the Principality E-ISA was only 0.1% less and I found phoning them on 02920382000 much quicker. The staff were helpful and the rules less rigid. I got the impression that if something went slightly wrong they would be prepared to put it right. ~Edited by Admin: Telephone numbers used elsewhere. Removed numbers |

Be aware - according to an article I read at the weekend, Icesave and other non-UK banks are not covered by the same FSA rules as UK banks. If a UK bank goes t*ts up, then all of your money up to £35k is safe. There is not the same level of protection for non-UK banks.
