I have rang Ebico on the 0800 number on the site and they say if you are already a customer you have to ring the billing dept on 0845 7444555. Does anyone know the geo number for it?

I just looked on thier site and it doesnt say that 0845 number anywhere only the free one but they dont deal with anything but sales enquiries on there seems a bit of a con that does as it gives potential customers the impression that its always a feeephone number

The difficulty here is that, although Ebico, (Equigas and Equipower) have an 0800 sales number, they do not actually deal with the bills - their sub-contractors (the energy suppliers) do.

The 0845 number you were given was, therefore, for the sub-contracted company.

I found out when I changed to them that my gas and electrcity were to be supplied by Southern Electric (Ebico appear to have arrangements with various mainstream suppliers depending on the area) and, comparing their websites, it is quite obvious that my previous supplier (Atlantic) did as well!

You will have guessed by now that the number you were given was for Southern Electric.

As the number is Southern Electric's electricity general enquiries number, I assume that is what you're after.  In which case, the database has:

Oh thankyou thats very helpfull I will call on that number to get through then :) Would that be the same number for gas then or should I just ring the number from Southern elec gas?
