need a number.the one that's down in the list ( 0239 2223975) isnt even ringing.cheers

The HMRC geographical numbers are available on the HMRC website in the form of international numbers. For instance this is the URL for offices in the M-O alphabetical range:

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/local/individuals/international-m-o.htm

I suppose all the others are available, too.

It might be an idea to put all of them in the verified database.

sorry for the delay.thanx for all your help.how d'ya find these numbers?????? i'd looked on the HMRC site and came up with 0845 numbers.

If you look at the HMRC website they give "international" alternatives for the 0845 numbers of all tax offices here:

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/local/individuals/international-e-l.htm

All you have to do is replace "+44" with "0".

By the way under "search for alternative numbers" on this site you will also find this web address if you search for HMRC.

023 9222 3198 isnt the right number.iwas told i have to ring the contact centre on the 0845......
