Please try this number and let us know how you get on.

This admittedly does not correspond to the Manchester postal address they give for customer services on the website, but one can never be sure how these large organisations operate and deploy their call centres.

Try neighbouring numbers to those listed above.

So for 0161 742 2222 try 0161 742 2221, 2223, 2224, etc.
For 01293 560 777 try 01293 560 775, 776, 778, 779, etc.

The reason for this is that sometimes an 0845/0870 number can go to many different numbers depending on which operator isn't busy, etc so it could be that those numbers are the main numbers and are generally always busy.
