The vehicle license reminder form "Vehicle License Application" V11 gives 08708504444 to call to relicense a vehicle by phone. I had to phone as I have changed my license plates, and the web option www.direct.gov.uk/taxdisc would not let me do it that way. I have used the 0870 number now, but I thought it would be useful for others.

Could you not have supported your local post office that issues car tax, or is it too far away?
