Title: Pentax digital camera support Post by hailstones on Nov 27th, 2006 at 8:18pm
Although I got this number from Amazon: 01753 792731, choosing Option 1 now has a message saying "For digital camera support dial 0870 736 8299". Other Enquiries (Switchboard) 01753 792792 not much better when asked to put me through - told me to call the 0870 number.
Needless to say, zero response via e-mail. Annoying! BTW, this seems to be a bit of a trend to prevent Geographical phone access. Also noticed at CIS Insurance who now prompt to call their 0845 number instead. >:( |

I wasn't sure if you were just letting us know about Pentax or if you wanted their geographical number?
Pentax's 'Contact Us' page lists all geographicals except for digital camera support where the 0870 is listed. I also noticed that no fax is available. The reason for this could be that they want to obtain money for support so change their numbers or they've outsourced their digital camera support to another company. A 192.com search revealed 01753 792 792 which isn't listed in the contact us page of Pantax's website so you could try that. If no luck then we would need to know if they've outsourced their Photo support to another company and we would need the name of that company. |

Thanks for your response. I did want the geographical number.
I did try 01753 792 792 but it is menu driven and quotes the same 0870 number when selecting the support line. I will ask the customer services team if indeed they have outsourced the operation, which I doubt. Just making a few quid from the punters with failed equipment! |

Looking around for numbers for Pentax, I noticed alot start 01753 7927xx. I went through the whole lot, 01753 792700 through to 799. Just over 60 of them are not recognised/NU. Those that are in service are spread across the block and aren't all together. The following is a list of some that may be of help:

I found a page giving the press office as 01753 798119 so I've tried all numbers 01753 798100 through to 199. Just over half are out of service.
There's most probably other Pentax numbers and the only way to find out what they are is to try ringing them. I have successfully found numbers using this method. |

I admire your dedication to the cause!
I will have another hunt round or maybe sweet talk someone in customer services ;) If I find it I will be back. Thanks again. |
Title: Pentax number Post by bazboy on Nov 28th, 2008 at 11:06am
This is my first posting and I 'think' I have remembered the rules. I if breech any I apologise, it is accidental and not because of rudeness. (I haven't added any tags - should I have done?)
Please can anyone help me with a geographical number for the camera company Pentax, Pentax House, Heron Drive, Langley, Slough, Bucks SL3 8PN? The only number I have is 0870 736 8299. It will cost me enough to have the camera sensor cleaned without adding 087 charges. Thank you Bazboy ~ Edited by Dave: Thread joined to existing one |

How about the numbers on this page?
http://www.pentax.co.uk/en/Company_Contact.html The number you quote is "Digital Support", but all the other numbers are geographical. You could try the customer services number. Alternatively, there is an option to e-mail each department, including Digital Support. |

I have joined your thread to the existing one for Pentax. If you opted to receive an email when someone responds, you will need to re-subscribe now I've moved it by clicking here. See above for some suggestions and let us know how you get on. |
