Does anyone have the new 01/02/0800 number for virgin radio? Niether 0207 6630177 or 0800 30 1215 work!! Please try to find out! The new 0870 number is 08707 30 1215!

I've just rung the geographical now and it's engaged.

You could try numbers nearby like 0207 6630178, etc.  Failing that then you may have to ring the 0870.

084x/087x numbers have the capability to keep more people on hold than a geographical number can so it could be that due to demand the geographical is busy (as is the case now) but people ringing the 0870 are held in a queue.

I suspose so.. But I have tried like a dozen times and it has been engaged..

The way to be sure is ring the geographical and if its busy then straight away ring the 0870 and see if its answered by a human (ie studio) straight away.  If not, and there is some kind of queue then it's likely the 0870 is keeping them all queued.

If you do get through, then ring the geographical straight away again and see if its still engaged.  It may also be possible that the 0870 diverts to more than one geographical number (sometimes consecutive hence why I asked you to ring nearby numbers).
