I wonder if anyone has any alternative numbers for Redten Internet. This is a new service set up by Watford Electronics (Savastore) in conjunction with LG, BT and Microsoft. They offer a free PC with a 3 year broadband contract which is rather a good offer. Website: www.redteninternet.com.

I’m particularly interested in not having to pay for Technical support. The numbers are:

Technical support: 0871 3177070
Customer service: 0871 2859436
BT Broadband support: 0871 3176060
Sales: 0844 4820000
Microsoft support: 0911 1876060

They are based in Luton, Bedfordshire but some of the numbers may be based somewhere else.

Luton’s dialling code, I understand, is 01582.

I would be grateful or any help.

As you can see, they like their 0870/0871 numbers and seem to have their 01582 numbers under wraps.

A search on 192.com for businesses at the post code LU1 1WE (I assume that this is a private postcode with it ending WE for Watford Electronics - so all businesses at that address may well be connected to them) reveals quite a few businesses, many without phone numbers and others with 08xx numbers.

Unfortunately, it looks as though they have nothing to do with WE now.  :-/

I also doubt that they have a block of 01582 650xxx numbers as a Google of "01582 650" reveals some nearby numbers for other companies.

I have joined your post onto the existing one on Redten. As you can see, they are/were part of Watford Electronics. WE went into administration last year, so I'm not sure whether they still are or not:

I found out that they do customer service on the sales number aswell 0844 4820000 .
They pickup phone pretty quick normally within 3 minutes. they are definitley in the UK.

are there anyone brave enough to phone them up and obtain the geographical number from them.

0844 4820000 lines closes at 6pm
