Title: unverified numbers
Post by reggie on Dec 29th, 2006 at 2:32pm
I'm not sure where to post this but thought I ought to let you know that I used the unverified  free number given for 0845 600 70 30 and it worked perfectly. A big thankyou to whoever posted it.

I've just removed that entry because there is already an identical one in the verified listings.

I hope you're right Dave because when I looked earlier today there were 2 numbers given, one verified and one unverified where it said use option 9 for an advisor. That was the number I used and unfortunately I didn't keep a record of it so I hope you still have it somewhere. Incidentally when speaking to a BT person yesterday  concerning their Broadband helpline 08456007030 he insisted on calling this a locaal number and the 0870 as a National number. When I pointed out that  there was now no difference between a local and national number I got nowhere. It seems that BT has its own new dictionary of the English language. National means it costs around 8p per min and local means about 4p per min !!
