I am trying to look for a alternative number for 0845 600 5555, so I can check my hearing over the telephone. Royal National Institute for the Deaf - 01733 232607, but not sure if that will go straight to the hearing check line, but i'll call and find out anyway.

I doubt it, It will be a special number set up for it, you can always try to ring them on the 01 number and ask if they have an alternative to the 0845 as you are not allowed to call it as you are a participant on a trial study for national press and the facility has been blocked to see how you can manage, the press are running a report on all the good and bad companies...
