Title: 18185 Engaged announcement Post by Galceran on Jan 24th, 2007 at 2:08pm
I am using Orchid's dialler with 18185 for Daytime calls. I made an 01xxx call at 1345 today, long pause and then the engaged tone with the announcement "The number is engaged. To use ringback dial 5". The voice for this recorded message was the one BT use. Does the connection through 18185 fall back to BT if the number is engaged (for the engaged announcement)?
I have made several other successful calls today and had the 18185 voice after the first ring "Zero p per minute". :-? |

If you dial a BT number using 18185 and it's engaged, that's what you get.
To be sure, I've just tried calling my own number and, of course, it was engaged. That nice BT lady - who works very long hours - told me the number I'd called was busy and, to use ringback, I should press 5. |

Thanks Bill. Not sure whether I was being routed via BT on the dialler.

Yes, it does drop back to the BT busy signal (keying 5 not recommended :) ).
