Hi there and welcome to this site!
Would it be possible to give further details, i.e name of company, address etc. The more information, that is available the better. Thank you. James Bond |

larbrown has been back and read jamesbond's post, but not given any more information. When she says "they are a company that informs you who supplies the fuel at any given address", it would be reasonable to assume that this is gas. However, I Googled the number and it belongs to Central Networks, and Eon company (see here), an eletricity company. Is this a windup? |

Hi Dave,
No this is not a wind up.... Thanks for the information, the company you quoted is known as MPAS and this is how it works. When you move from one property to another the fuel suppliers are not always known [ie council tenants very often move not knowing who the next tenant will be.] In these circumstances MPAS will inform the new tenants the name of the company that previously supplied that property. Unfortunately I still only have the 0845 60330618 number. larbrown |

I understand what the number is for, but I am still puzzled because you have failed to clarify what you mean by "fuel". As I said, I assume you are referring to gas, as electricity is not a fuel. But the website I linked to is for an electricity company. Or is it for both?? :-/ The company that tells you who supplies your gas is National Grid/Onstream (formally Transco) as it operates the network. A thread on this is here. See also here. |
