switchboard: 0161-228 8100
Fax: 0161-228-8120

If the switchboard tells you to ring the 0845 number say that  outgoing calls to numbers starting with 08 are barred from where you are calling and would they please transfer you.

Prefix the switchboard number with 141, i.e. dial 141 0161 228 8100

I'm only getting the recorded message 'Sorry the number called is unavailable at present'.

Are there any other numbers I can try?

You may have tried it out of hours.

I called the 0161 228 8100 number at 9.10 a.m. this morning and they answered Transpennine Express.  :)

First Transpennine Express' 0845 number may be answered in Plymouth at First Great Western's office, see here.

Indeed, they are all answered at the FirstInfo contact centre in Plymouth.

The alternative for the 0845 600 1671 number for which is answered with a menu is 01752 675641.

Telesales is 0845 678 6974 whose geographical number is 01752 675644.

First Transpennine Express (FTPE) appear to have changed most of their contact numbers to 034 see here

The only one that does not appear to have changed is their Customer Relations number.. which is rather odd..

The numbers are:

Telesales: 0345 678 6974
Season Tickets: 0345 678 6965
Group travel/Cycle reservation: 0345 600 1674
Lost property: 0345 600 1672
Website Support: 0344 556 5637

I have just tried 0345 600 1671 the alternative that should be listed by FTPE for their Customer Relations number and can confirm it does indeed work, despite NOT being listed by them.

I will look to get these listings updated.
