Title: John Lewis 90 day PC/Laptop helpline
Post by bmangan on Feb 22nd, 2007 at 9:57am
Having just purchased a laptop from John Lewis it is annoying that the 90 helpline is non geographic! They were unable to help with the geo number so hopefully someone out there can. That annoying number is 0870 6000060, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Barry

Many thanks 'a very nice man' most appreciated.

Having rang the recommended number I was given an alternative (01392429429) and found this most useful - this is the main switchboard of client logic and they put me through to the JL helpline, without any bother.

Regards

Barry

Title: John Lewis computer support - 0870 600 0060
Post by Shughes on Mar 21st, 2008 at 9:25pm
I have recently purchased a laptop from John Lewis part of the reason for buying from them was the after sales suppot and 90 free computer software support.  I have found to my cost to get this support you need to call a 0870 number. I have searched the site for the number but can not find an alternative number.  The number is 0870 600 0060 does anyone have an alternative number?

The website seems to give no indication whether this number is run by John Lewis or an external provider. Google searches throw up no further clues. Have you tried ringing the head office (number in the database) and asking if you can be transferred?

Hi there and a very warm welcome to the forum.

Have you looked at the database? There are loads of verified and unverified numbers there for John Lewis. Would any of those be of any help to you?

What company provides this service? I would be surprised if it is John Lewis itself and would expect it to be outsourced. In order to find an alternative, it's likely that this question will need to be answered.

I have joined your posting to the existing thread for this helpline. There is a suggestion that the provider is ClientLogic; perhaps a member can investigate whether this is still the case.
