That'll be good news for those unfortunate enough to have their landline rental with Talk Talk.  

However, if you can work out the cost of calling other 0870 numbers from a Talk Talk landline from what is allegedly their call charges list you're a better man than me, Gunga Din!

Hi, good question. the best I can find is this info from the website. Not sure whether it's helpful.

Calls to 0845 numbers are charged at 3p/m (day), 1p/m (evening) and 0.5p/m (weekend). Calls to 0870 numbers are charged at 7p/m (day), 3.5p/m (evening) and 1.5p/m (weekend). Our maximum price for calling other 084 or 087 numbers is 10 pence per minute (day/evening/weekend).

But there is only 1 0870 rate except for a couple of prefixes within 0870. Are you talking 0871?  :-/

Call charges shown and billed per minute. Connection fee of 3p applies to all chargeable calls excluding calls which are charged a fixed fee per call. Mobile call charges relate to the Network the customer originally connected to.

Hi, that's what the website says. so, as i understand it, there is only one charge for 0870s, as far as i can see.
