You could try contacting Merlin Entertainments, who are the owners of the London Eye. Their number is 01202 666900.

Perhaps we are looking for a central number which isn't necessarily anywhere near the London Eye itself. A central call centre is likely to deal with enquiries for all Merlin's venues. This may be in-house, perhaps at the head office, or outsourced to a third party call centre provider. |
Title: Re: London Eye Post by jgxenite on Aug 19th, 2008 at 8:12pm
It is quite possible that all Merlin's attractions are handled by some central booking facility. I still say that the first port of call would be the head office, to see whether they can shine any light on the situation. If you say that you cannot call 0870 numbers, perhaps they would be willing to transfer you, or offer an alternative 01/02 number (some of their attractions do list an alternative "international" number).

Hi Lompos, I phoned the number i was given. The lady i spoke to put me through and it rang for nine minutes. So i hung up and phoned again. This time the lady i spoke to said there was no other numbers apart from the 0870 ones. So no joy as of yet. Mike7

Mike, I wonder if the mention of asking about arrangements for the disabled scared them in to putting you through fearing that otherwise a possible complaint about their 0870 number under the DDA might ensue. Still it proves that they can connect people to the London Eye call centre using their main geographic number. Its just that they choose not to a lot of the time. :o >:( |

E-mail is an insecure method of communication and, as such, should not be used for passing over details such as credit card number. |

Indeed, but my reasoning for supplying that information was so that the op could email them for an alternative number, if they have one. |

Thanks, but I've tried emailing them n they've said there's no alternative number :(

Good Morning.
I did some digging and found a few bits of info. London Eye and London Dungeons are both operated/owned by Merlin Entertainments, and both operate from the same venue. I did a Google search for London Dungeon and the postcode for both venues, that gave me this page: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g186338-d189027-Reviews-The_London_Dungeon-London_England.html which has an 020 number listed against it. It would be a start to try this number or ones close to it as alternatives for the London Eye. The Dungeon was previously operated from Tooley Street near London Bridge Station. The number given is: 020 7403 7221 It's worth a try at least. |

Just to confirm that the Merlin Head Office number was the only one that worked for me (01202 666900) explained that we only had mobiles and the lady put me straight through to the London Eye Ticket department.
Thanks |
Title: Re: London Eye Post by CJT-80 on Jul 3rd, 2013 at 10:47am
good to know that someone in the organisation recognises the fact some households ONLY use mobiles... This "rip off" culture needs to end.... there is NO justification for using "premium" rated numbers to purchase tickets or get information...
The situation and industry has got out of control with this, and something needs to be done to stop it! :( >:( |

Anyone have alternative number for Merlin Entertainments 08712229928? Made a booking online and the website said "Payment not authorised" call 08712229928 with ref#XXXX. but my card has been charged!
Its high time the Govt, takes out all the 0871... 0870.... numbers. |
Title: Re: London Eye Post by Sam Matt on Aug 17th, 2014 at 8:43am
This CS number is only for London Eye bookings, Blackpool Tower/Dungeon is 08712229929 and its not in the database.
Just found this number on the email sent from Merlin Entertainments - 03333212001 |
