Looking for parklet.co.uk parking letting agents. I have a complaint against them that they have not paid me my rent for over 2 months. Any calls are met with long wait times on their 0870 number.

I am the managing director of www.parklet.co.uk, and would like to address your conecrn with regards to late rent payment personally. Your comment with regards to a long wait time when calling could only be due to catching us at a busy time, we do not differentiate between new sales calls and customer service related calls in any way.

Please be aware that rental amounts are remitted in arrears, however if you are owed two months rent it would appear something else is wrong. Please provide you account details and we will call YOU shortly to get to the bottom of this.

As for the 0870 number. We made the decision to use an 0870 number because we are an internet based business, trying to encourage our customers to use the site as much as possible. Most of our competitors do not even give a contact number. Saying that we have gone from one extreme to the other, from 0800 to 0870, maybe in hindsight an 0845 would have been a wiser choice. I will consider moving it on our next print run.

Why not just use an ordinary geographic number?  The simplest thing for you to do would be to make 01245 399444 accept incoming calls.

You should be aware that there is a growing movement, not least thanks to this site, of boycoting companies who use 08 contact numbers, and that includes 0845 as well. It may well be against your commercial interests to use such a number!

Perhaps Luke Kelly is known to Vicky Webster of Phoenix Travel, who also continued to monitor the site for reference to their number, without having the appropriate sense of decency to offer their true number.

Run away and find that bucket of sand to put your head in, maybe these evil people who don't want to be ripped off will go away.

You were either stupid to believe the marketing hype, or you don't give a care for your customers.  A third option is that you are a thief.
