After reading Martin Lewis I applied for an HSBC card. the number given was

0870 0106645

Please could somebody tell me the geographical number.

What sort of card? Credit card or something else?

Is the number for applications or customer services or something else? If so, then I'm sure that one of the alternatives in the database will be suitable.

I applied for the card online ans was given this number to ring to check my application.
I looked in the search for HSBC and this number isn't listed.

It is for a credit card with 0% interest until Apr 2008

There are many alternatives listed. The general one for bank customer services is 01226 261010. They deal with credit card enquiries as well.

Is the alternative on the database for one of HSBC's other 0870 numbers (0800 587 7008) of no use? It's tagged as 'Credit Card enquiries'.
