Title: BT Featureline Helpdesk Post by SteveH on Mar 22nd, 2007 at 10:40am
I have been given the NGN 0870 513 3399 to get pre-sales(!) answers to queries about the BT Featureline service. Anyone got a cheaper alternative?
Thanks, Steve |

I looked on the BT website for Featureline. Got to this page which gives 0800 389 2312. I presume it's for sales.

Thanks - and congratulations - I can never find anything useful on BT's site except half a page of hype followed by an 'order now' button. They seem to think 'why make an effort when the world is full of mugs . . . '
Will try it and let you know where it get to. Thanks again. Been enthusing about this site to all and sundry - hope it gets more notice so the big bullies get the message that 0870 doesn't make them look big - just cheap. Kind regards Steve |

I put bt featureline into Google. The first hit takes you to: http://www.productsupport.bt.com/featureline/ Then click on Sales Information on the left hand side. |

Thanks, Dave.
The 0800 389 2312 given on those pages is a general Business Sales Enquiry no. My queries were rather more specific than they could handle, so they put me through to the Featureline helpdesk - just as well it was 0800 or I would have rung off, the time it took. Everyone I have spoken to has given me the 0870 513 3399 number, clearly thinking they were being very helpful by giving me the 'direct line'. I learned long ago that trying to disabuse the lowly minions in an organisation the size of BT is a waste of breath and everything. Now, if I could have a chat with the Managing Director . . . Thanks for all your help, Steve |
