Here's a neat idea.

Get your self a 0870 or even better a 0871 number and get the calls routed to your landline. Give your friends and family your 01/02 landline number and give everybody else your 0870/0871 number. Now YOUR BANK/GAS/ELECTRIC companies will have to ring a higher rate number to contact you. Also next time that double-glazed salesman calls - keep them on the line for as long as you can because you can earn a few pence per minute from their calls.

It's time to get your own back.

This is a sad version of masochism - why keep the double-glazing salesman online at all, and how would he call the 0870 number, if you didn't supply it?
