Has any one got a geo number for Cahoot in place of the 0844 9000900, as the one in the data base, 02746 627190, is coming back as "number invalid"

I recently posted the number 01908 937222 for Cahoot on MSE as an alternative to the 0844 for a member and they replied saying that this is now the Cahoot Sick line for when staff can't make it to work.

I have just tried this number and it is answered in exactly the same way as the 0844 900 0900 number.  :-?

It asks for a customer number or 16 digit card number. For password problem or if you don't know your number, press 0.

It is given as the "overseas" number in the Cahoot Terms and Conditions.

02746 627190, as mentioned by the OP is NOT a valid UK number.

The 027 area code is not yet in use.

Apologies Dave, I was just relaying information from MSE.
I can see you have posted in the thread on MSE that I linked to.

I've also just phoned the number and got the "Thank you for calling Cahoot message".

I expect the 4 and 7 were transposed, making it a Coventry number.

According to Wikipedia's Cahoot entry they are based in Coventry so that may make sense with the number.

Cahoot: This is how it works: dial 01908 937222 – once you hear the menu option you can press 0 to speak to a cahoot Contact Agent. They emailed me to ring them that way and it works.

Does it not connect, does it give you a message to call another number?
