Title: Changing your Landline Number
Post by Johnny Debt on Jun 15th, 2007 at 9:55am
If I have a BT landline, how easy is it to have the number chaged?

* Who do I contact at BT?
* What is the cost?
* How long does it take?

If I am using say "OneTel" for my charges, is it still a BT issue or would I have to approach Onetel?

If you have done this please let me know how it went.

Excellent, thank you for the information. It is not for me personally, a client of mine is getting threatening calls from creditors.

It would be nice to think that when the phone rings in future, they will answer the call, rather than hide in fear of it.

If they have not changed it before, BT will change it once free of charge. ;)

If they wanna cut their bills have a read of this.

I think that that may only apply in the case of nuisance calls, with the request made via the Malicious Calls Bureau.
