Title: Kaspersky Lab Post by Rikki_Tikki on Jul 14th, 2007 at 6:50pm
Can anyone help with the generic telephone number for Kapersky Anti-Virus here in the UK. Would be very grateful but cannot find even through Google, only a string of 0871 numbers. Thanks

Contact details at: http://www.kaspersky.com/uk-office
192.com only returns 0870 and 0871 numbers. My assumption is that their call centres are located abroad and hence the non-geographic numbers (their main HQ is in Moscow). Thephonebook.com doesn't return any entries. |

try their geographic number in Holland via one of the cheap 0844 access services @ ˝p/min.

Thanks to both jgxenite and Iompos for their prompt replies. I think that the geographic number in Holland via a 0844 access is obviously the best bet.
If they can have a call center in Holland, then it is a shame they do not do the same for the UK, especially after the rave review for their product in the latest PC Pro magazine which will obviously bring them a lot of enquiries/new users! |

I guess you could always enquire when you ring Holland. Say that you can't ring the 0871 in the UK, and see what they say. Let us know how you get on.

Title: Can Help with telephone number Post by Rikki_Tikki on Nov 6th, 2009 at 12:08pm
Please can anyone notify me of the non geographic telephone number for Kaspersky.Co.UK. They used to have one but now that they have moved to an Abingdon address their Tech Help line is now:
0871 789 1653 at 10p per minute the only other number I can find is for Home User Support Sales. Many thanks if you can help Riki Tiki |

Funny I after the name number today too!
The number on their wbsite is the above one (not ending 53) - not sure if you;ve got another from another source? |

Rikki, did you try the Holland number?

Reply to Tigerfan: Sorry, I made a typing mistake with the 5, which should have been 0871 789 1633 as you showed.
No I have not tried the Holland number suggested below your reply as probably that would be more than 10 p. per minute - I will have to check. Thanks anyway - The only other number I have been able to locate is is the 0808 1017519 shown as "Home User Sales Support". I have not tried that. Thanks in advance for any help out there! |

From a BT landline you can ring geographical numbers in Holland for ˝p/min via one of the access numbers such as, for example, 0844 200 9898

It appears yet again that those asking for help have left us to do basic spadework. It is known that Kaspersky Lab UK has a new address but no-one posts it. ::) ::)

They used to have one what? What is it? ::) From the Kaspersky Lab UK contact page: 97 Milton Park Abingdon Oxfordshire OX14 4RY United Kingdom General Information: info@kasperskylab.co.uk or fax 0871 789 1633 Home User sales support: 0808 1017519 Technical Support: 0871 789 1635 Milton Park is a business estate managed by MEPC: http://www.mepc.com/miltonpark/Home.aspx Information on number 97: http://www.mepc.com/miltonpark/News/LatestNews/97-ThisisaStatementBuilding.aspx The news release from Kaspersky on the move is here: http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/news?id=207575842 So the building is nearly 38,000 sq ft over three floors and Kaspersky's office is about 12,000 sq ft, so that suggests that they occupy only one floor. It also says that their old offices aren't far away as they moved from Culham Science Centre near Abingdon. Sophos UK is also based nearby. The number for Home User Sales Support, 0808 101 7519, has one single long burst of ringing before being answered by an Irish accented lady. There is a delay of two or three seconds before the ringing starts. Option 2 goes through to technical support, just the same as calling 0871 789 1635. The English accented man even says that calls cost 10 pence per minute (as he does from the 0871 number). Of course, this is only applicable when calling through the 0871, but nonetheless suggests that option 2 on the 0808 number forwards to the same number as the 0871 number. The local dialling code is 01235. The only number I can find for them is listed by Microsoft: https://solutionfinder.microsoft.com/Partners/PartnerDetailsView.aspx?partnerid=1b1427b5bd644df5af7dbef5e562b34e This gives the Milton Park address, so must be quite new. It is 01235 450000 for voice and 01235 450001 for faxes. 01235 45 is a prefix allocated to telecommunications provider Verizon UK Ltd. There is a delay of nearly 10 seconds before ringing kicks in and it is more a purring ringing tone, so I don't think that it is one of these 01235 45xxxx numbers that the 0871 number points to. The ringing on it is what I consider to be normal UK ringing tone. It is provided by Cable & Wireless (assuming that it hasn't been ported away). Do we have any idea of what the telephone number (0871, 01235 or whatever) is for the Kaspersky Lab UK office? The one for enquiries not relating to technical support? :-? I have added an entry for reaching technical support via the 0808 number, with a note explaining that calls are free and to ignore the 10p/min message. |

Thanks David - that is really helpful and I will try what you suggest. I am very grateful. That goes to all who have replied. I will hope to hear the voice from the Irish lady! Rikki Tikki
