I've come across this number from www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk - 020 7793 2699. It gets you through to "Link Financial" (which seems to be their abbreviated name). Give it a go and let us know if it works please.

If the London office is no good and you have to contact the Caerphilly office then some more knowledgable members of this forum than myself can probably track down the geographic phone number of Link Finance from the geographic fax number given as  0292 085 35 55

At long last I had to contact Asset Link today - and yes 0800 064 44 99 does work, but if the welsh office is dealing with the case, you have to call them.

Scoot (www.scoot.co.uk) doesn't know anything about Link Financial. My thoughts now are to try a few numbers close to the 029 number found earlier.

For example, might be worth (for starters atleast) trying numbers in this range - 029 2085 355x. 3550 might be their switchboard. If you can try that, and report back what you find, that might help in tracking down the number.

Well basically, larger companies normally own blocks of numbers. We've come across two numbers in the same block (3555 and 3522). Switchboards are normally (but not always) on "0", so my assumption was that their switchboard was on either 3520 (again assuming that "2x" was their voice block) or 3500 (which is at the base of the 35xx block we came across earlier).

Not that I know a great deal about how businesses allocate number blocks, but you might have noticed that I haven't suggested 3550 - my reasoning behind this being that it could be their fax block. However, if 3520 and 3500 don't bring anything up, you could try that (029 2085 3550).

The 03 number as pointed out by Ian01 is not "free" but inclusive rate.
