Title: Confused by message Post by janitor on Aug 23rd, 2007 at 4:38pm
Just rung Belkin tech support on their new 0845 number, at the begining of the call a recorded message says "If you are ringing from a mobile phone your network provider may charge you for this call" surely as it's an 0845 number no matter how you call you will be charged, could they possibly think this is a freephone number. :-?

Why have you called the 0845 number when there is a geographical and freephone alternative in the database? :-?

It used to be an 00800 (international freephone) number - which connected callers to their call centre in India but that just has an announcement directing you to the 0845 number now.. |

Unfortunately i had no net access thats why i was calling support, my old router had died and for some reason the new one was saying connected but didn't seem to be, but all sorted now. |
