First of all, which number have you been calling? Currys give two numbers for Whateverhappensnext: 0870 600 1550 and 0844 561 4000.

On the Whateverhappensnext agreement their address is given as a PO Box number in Sheffield. There is a geographic number for Currys at 49 Furnival Gate, Sheffield S1: 0114 270 1133.  All their stores in Sheffield have 0870 numbers so there is a chance that this is not a store but their Head Office.  49 Furnival Gate is called AEU House. Try it and let us know how you got on.

When you call, prefix your number with 141 and if it is the right number and they are reluctant to transfer you say that 087 and 084 numbers are barred by your switchboard

Their Head Office address is given as: Currys, P.O. Box 1925, Sheffield S2 5XW

The 0114 270 1133 number answers as Currys. I tried it just now, but you'll have to find out if they will put you through to Whateverhappensnext.

Please report back.

Whateverhappensnext is a Currys consumer product insurance policy to deal with breakdowns, etc. On the agreement they quote a Sheffield P O Box number as their address (please see posts above)

They give out 2 contact numbers 0870 600 1550 and 0844 561 4000.

I tried but couldn't find the location of their callcentre.

So what company underwrites/provides this insurance?  :-?

Have they replaced Mastercare with "Whatever Happens" ??

A thread for Mastercare is here.

There is a DSG office facing the Sheffield Parkway, so it's probably there that calls and mail go. Google Maps shows it here. Judging by the map, its address is Bernard Road.

More information on the building from GVA Grimley in a leaflet here.

A search on 192.com Business Search for businesses in Bernard Road, Sheffield reveals quite a few entries there, all of which have the post code S2 5BQ.

Dixons is now Currys and I think CoverPlan Customer Services is now Curry's Whateverhappensnext on which there is a separate thread (started on 26 August 2007)

Dave, I think the two threads ought to be merged

Title: Coverplan/Whatever Happens Product Support
Post by luke123 on Nov 27th, 2008 at 10:13am
Hi

I am looking for a land line number for Coverplan/Whatever Happens. Their number is 08706001550.

There are a few numbers listed on the site, but;

a) they are for dyson products
b) 0800 and I am looking for a 01 or 02 number. Also I dont think the 0800 number gets you through anyway.

I have been searching the net for a while now

Thanks a lot!

Coverplan/Whatever Happens is I think to do with Curry's. If you type that in to Google there are several blogs relating to this and they don't seem good.

If you are using a mobile, you can use dial-through numbers such as 020 0222 0700 or 020 0222 0900 to make 0800 calls out of your inclusive minutes (or at least at a cheaper rate if you are on PAYG). See also http://www.0800buster.co.uk/
