It is in the database as 08448118110/01924512000, but the latter simply says to dial 0844... Has anyone got a number that will connect, or is 0844 a system the locks out any geograph number?

The central switchboard geographic number is 01924 213850 and they will put you through to any of the 4 Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust hospitals, including Dewsbury. I just tried it.

I've removed the entry with the number quoted in the OP for DDH. I have amended the existing entry with the names of the four hospitals so that a search of any will find it.

As Lompos says, it is a central switchboard that will put you through to all four hospitals as there is only 1 0844 number, assuming that it doesn't have a menu asking which hospital the caller wants.
