For the first number, did you even look for Bank of Scotland numbers in the database? The 0845 number you quote is in the unverified list as "Private Banking". However, RBS give the geographic number for that on their website. Either use that or look up "Bank of Scotland" in the database for some geographic alternatives.
The number you give for the internet helpdesk is not the one quoted on their website. Where did you get that from? The number given on their website is same as "Direct Banking Helpdesk" in the database - search for that and try the geographic there. If that doesn't work, post back (with an explanation why) and someone will help you from there. In future, please check the database thoroughly before posting a request. While the exact non-geographic number might not be in the database, searching for the generic company name and browsing the entries can reveal other non-geos and their geographic alternatives. |

the internet banking number comes from the following website
https://www.iblogin.com/hobsinternet/en/internet/index.jsp?src=pb or here http://www.bankofscotlandint.com/internet_banking/Register.asp it is on the old non halifax system for personal banking especially if your account is held either in jersey or isle of man, but you can use it for the bank of scotland accounts that have a roll number because these are actually halifax accounts unlike the old system, for accounts that do not have a roll number that are actually non halifax accounts & are original bank of scotland personal accounts that halifax can not get access to ;D :) as for the personal banking 24hour telephone number this is actually on the following website http://www.bankofscotlandint.com/banking/24-hour-telephone-banking.asp |

Right. Well, it would have been useful if you had included this information when you first requested the alternative numbers (this is part of the instructions for requesting numbers!)
Have you actually tried the alternative internet banking numbers in the database? Just because they have some different roll number (or something like that) doesn't mean the alternative won't work... Regarding the offshore personal banking number, there is a geographic number on that website - give it a ring and see if they will transfer you. If not, try the normal telephone banking numbers in the database. As I mentioned, there is a unconfirmed entry in the database for the "offshore" 0845 number you gave. In future, please include all this information beforehand, as well as trying alternatives in the database. |

01534 is the code for Jersey and BT and Talk Talk are two providers that charge these calls above UK inland geographical calls. |
