This is a long shot but here goes....

looking for the number for Sunderland AFC ticket office... not happy at paying for my call to pay to get tickets..

the only number i have is 0845 671 1973
I couldnt find anything on the Sunderland Website (www.safc.com/home)

Contact numbers for departments at the club are here.

Most are either 0191 551 50xx, 0191 551 51xx or 0191 551 52xx. Hospitality is 0191 551 5555. A clue to what numbers they have.

If the ticket office is based at the stadium, and the ticket fax number suggests that it is, then the 0845 number is likely point to similar direct 0191 numbers.

Will the switchboard (0191 551 5000) put you through?

Perhaps someone would care to inform Sunderland AFC that 0845 is not "local rate" as is claimed on this page on its website, posted under two hours ago:
