I noticed that when reading the Topcomm site, which is a Ofcom initiative, and they recommend consumers to read,that they still say here on the Tiscali page

that 0870 calls are national rate. :-?

You would think that Ofcom might check out sites they are closely linked with. ::)

I have emailed and spoken to these people, here is a response from my phone call earlier today,(they said they had not received my email, even though I received an "out of office reply" from the person I spoke to);-

Thank you for your email and telephone call.

I have temporarily removed the telephone contact details from this page on the TopComm website and have contacted the company concerned so that the contact details can be updated,

I have just noticed that whilst they have removed the phone contact details on that page, if you click on "here" re Company Contact Details, you go to this page;- http://www.tiscali.co.uk/aboutus/contact/contact_smarttalk.html (Tiscali), that says;- Call 0871 222 3311.
Calls are charged at national rate

Info relating to their 0871 number now state;- Call 0871 222 3311. Calls are charged 10p per minute. Calls from a Tiscali Talk landline are charged at 5p per minute.

Other page seems to have been removed after I emailed them again yesterday.
