Title: Sky Contact Numbers Post by trevorspilsby on Dec 21st, 2007 at 2:59pm
:-/ :-/ Once again Sky have blocked all the geographical numbers shown.
The switchboard at Head Office refuses to put me through. I have written to Jeremy Darroch their Chief Executive complaining about their policy and suggest other members do the same. As I was unable to get his contact details I have sent the e-mail to the undermentioned: corporate.communications@ bskyb.com It is amazing that Sky show such contempt for their customers. I understand that the BBC are lauching Freestat in the new year with an HD facility - Perhaps that will wake Sky up. |

Try 01506 831006. I have just called them 5 mins ago and its OK. This number is now listed on the site and apparently comes from a reliable source.
I tried all the others but this is the only one that works :) |

His email address is jeremy.darroch@bskyb.com - firstname.surname works most of the time at most companies but if it doesn't then firstnamesurname (no dot), firstname_surname, asurname (where a is the first letter of their first name) or firstnamex (where x is the first letter of the lastname) will usually get you through. The only exceptions to this are toerags like the Chief Executive of NatWest who is so hated by his customers that he has had all obvious permutations of his email address closed down! Quote:
Not really as it seems to fit in entirely with the Murdochs general approach to business. Quote:
Well at the moment the BBC are also relentless 0870 abusers of course. But I have information from a very sound source that leads me to believe that the BBC is about to change all its phone numbers to start 03 (and thus be included in all inclusive call packages) with effect from mid to late 2008. As to Freesat I fear it is doomed if Channel Five, Five US and FiveLife will not be viewable on such a box and if Sky News and Sky Three are also not available but are available on a Sky Pay Once Watch Forever (aka Sky Freesat) box. Not to mention there is a rumour Sky may make Sky Two or even Sky One available FTV (free but need a Sky box with active Freesat viewing card) to their own Freesat customers to scupper the BBC venture. If Sky abolishes the Sky+ charge (including for non Sky FTA HD channels) and uprates its Freesat product to include HD capability then it will be Game Over for BBC Freesat as far as I can see. |
