I have received replies from the EU Commission and an MEP, How do I enclose/attach them to a posting on this forum pls? Tks Dick Fowler

In what form are they? Letter, email or Word document etc?

MEP is an email.
Eu is a scanned letter - a TIF file

You can copy and paste the email.

The scanned TIF file; do you have Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to turn it into text?

Let me know if you want help with any of these.

Not sure about OCR sw. Maybe something bundled with my scanner sw The letter is quite short so it will be easier to just retype the key wording or print, scan and paste. Is pasting in this situation just the same as in Word?

Are you able to do anything about the forum - presumably the security settings- changing my name ( D I C K )to THINGY.

I already did. Site admin has removed "Dick" from the list of words to censor.

TIF file is only 50kb so not worth it but very grateful for the offer.

Bit busy at the moment so it is better that I use available time to concentrate on the serious SNT0870 issues for my intended post hopefully at the weekend.

Must confess that I am not very good with computers so it takes me a disproportionate amount of time to tackle anything new.

You can email the TIF file to me and I will OCR it for you and send it back. I have provided my address in the private message I have sent you. Below the SAYNOTO0870.COM banner at the top it will say something like:

Hey, Dick_Fowler, you have 1 message, 1 are new.

You can click the "1 message" (which I've highlighted in bold) and then click on the subject line of my message to open it.
