Title: BT PaperJet 55 Helpline Post by derrick on Jan 21st, 2008 at 5:21pm
I have a BT PaperJet 55 fax machine and need to talk to someone on their helpline number, I have 2 numbers; 0845 0520052, this one is on the machine, and another one, 0845 7626342, that is on a print out,(from somewhere?), that relates to "BT Consumer Helpline".
Has anyone got the geo numbers please? ~ Edited by Dave: Thread title amended |

There is an existing thread for a BT PaperJet fax machine. The requestor has a PaperJet 60E model, tel 0870 240 8026. He/she says that it's manufactured by Olivetti.
It's extremely likely that BT did not manufacture the device, so do you know who did? See this list of helplines for BT products. Note that the 0870 mentioned in the other thread is shown against models BT PaperJet 30, 35, 50e, 60e, 55e, 65e. The helpline you quote is for BT PaperJet 50, 55, 60, 65. The user manual for BT PaperJet 55 is here. The user manual for BT PaperJet 55e is here. They look sufficiently alike that I think we can assume that your model is probably manufactured by Olivetti. |

I provided a link to the manual because it may help to uncover a proper number for you. ::) It's Olivetti, in which case the support page for them is here and gives: Olivetti UK Limited 500 Avebury Boulevard Milton Keynes MK 9 2BE Tel: 01908 547980 Fax: 01908 547979 |

Thanks Dave, I have rung it although they were not very informative and referred me to the helpline which is an 0870 number,(don't know the full number as when she started "0870" I stopped her, saying that is a premium rate number, she said it is "national rate" I then explained how/why it is not and directed her to this site. |
