If you are on a contract with O2 as opposed to pay as you go, the customer service calls are free from your mobile.

Is this for an "Online" contract or a high street one?
There is a thread for Pay Monthly Online which mentions that 0800 number here: http://www.saynoto0870.com/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.cgi?num=1150284020 |

Well, when I dial this number from my mobile I do not get charged, (mind you I fortunately don't have to very often.) 08702410202. I started my contract years ago in a high street shop and renew it every year by phone. I have to say as an aside, O2 have been very good and when ever there has been a problem it is sorted out very quickly and as a bonus the call center is UK based. I think you get charged from a land line.

I've used the 0800 005 005 number when calling from a landline, and that gets you directly through to an adviser. 202 is free from a contract mobile (whether that is an online or shop contract) as is 0870 241 02 02 from a contract mobile (but chargeable from a landline).
