Yes.

Sorry, perhaps I should be more specific.  It is for the NAT WEST Branch in Downend Bristol.  I did find a number on Google, but it was unobtainable.

Please read the instructions, and include atleast the address.

Please provide some basic information such as address, the 0845 number and the mystery number you found which is unobtainable. I have spent time looking for this one and had no success because a search of the Natwest website for branches in Bristol reveals none in the "Downend" area and it does not recognise "Downend" as being an area in Bristol.

It is likely that "Downend" is not part of the address, and thus I have found nothing because you have not provided the information. I am not prepared to spend any more time on this. Had I had an address, I may have come across something - something which is available on the public internet which you have access to. You leave others to do the basic spadework by not providing information !

Should no more information be posted by Anne, then this thread will be removed.

Steady on Dave old chap.  I really think Anne's question was asked with the very best intentions and she is only a New member of the forum with just the two posts today.  I know that it can be a little tiring at times to get the same old type of questions in the forum but Anne is clearly on the same side as us and I really don't think anything she has said justifies her being jumped on like this.  After all you don't want to end up with the same reputation as DaveM for being hard on the newbies, now do you Dave? ;) :-X

However although Downend appears to be just outside central Bristol NatWest does not appear to officially call the branch Downend on its website.  Perhaps Anne could give us the official branch name printed in her cheque book?

Found It by a bit more map investigation for the nearest place to Downend on Natwest's map.  Natwest officially call it the "18 Badminton Road" branch -

I don't know if the geographic number shown at the top of the list (perhaps for some regional call centre) can put Anne through if she insists on being connected.  Or may be its worth calling Westbury Road branch (for which the geographic number is listed above) to see if they know the geographic number or can connect you.

I wonder if one needs either a Shuttlecock or a horse in order to visit this branch though? ;) ;D

This is my first go at this and I have been doing some of my own hunting as well.  The original 0870 number I had was 0870 240 3377.  I found an old local number which unfortunately I didn't keep a note of, but it was unobtainable.  In the end I rang the 0870 number and was given 0845 302 1735.  I then rang that one and got through.  They had to call me back and the local number came up in my phone as 0117 956 4833.  

I will now try and put this onto your site for others to use.  

By the way, yes the address is 18 Badminton Road, Downend, Bristol, BS16 6BQ.  I didn't have this address as although it is my local branch, it isn't where my account is held.

Unfortunately 0117 956 4833 has a fax machine on it.  So this must be a line they only use for outgoing voice calls when it is free (i.e. no faxes arriving)?  Unless of course they only put the fax machine on the line at night.

Their incoming geographic number is probably something else beginning 0117 956 48??
