This company is due to start services on 28th April. They have 2 numbers published 0845 2605233 and 0845 2605200. Does anyone know how to obtain their geographic number?

Terry, while we try to find geographic alternative numbers, this is not always possible. Dave has already suggested emailing the managing director to ask for an alternative number - have you tried that?

A quick check of listed occupiers reveals a few contact numbers in the 01743 range, but no consistent dialling range, suggesting that each occupier arranges their own provision of numbers.

Naturally I've tried every way I can by emailing and asking but they are very reluctant to reveal geographic numbers. This seems very strange when they obviously want business. However, I think I've got a Shrewsbury number by contacting their press office in London and asking them to get someone to contact me. Although they would not give me a number when I asked, they didn't use 141 to hide the number so it should be 01743 720024. Obtained by using 1471.

Should I now present this number as the correct one?

If you ring that number back, do you get their customer services in Shrewsbury? Even if you don't, that hopefully gives us a place to start anyway.

So far I've only had "The person you're calling is not available" but I'll keep trying and let you know if I'm successful.

Thanks for that. I've moved it to the verified listings and added the telesales 0845 2605900 number to the entry so it will be picked up when people search by that number.

I don't know whether having the telesales number there will help as it's based in Scotland and they totally refuse to give an alternative number. It's a contracted answering service of some sort.

I've removed the telesales number.

We need to find out who the provider is for it. Does it have an address, different from the Shrewsbury one? How do you know it's in Scotland?

I was told that they (Wrexham & Shropshire) had contracted a company in Scotland to handle their booking enquiries. This was from the guy who called me and didn't block the Shrewsbury number.

I've since called them and they confirmed they were in Scotland but refused to give me any other number. I don't know the address I'm afraid.

Maybe you can think of some way to sweet talk them into giving more info.
