Will normal customer services not deal with your enquiry?
Do you have any further details, like their address? |

Have you tried ringing the direct customer services number that's in our database? Search for [3] to find it.

The mobile customer services for 3 was covered recently in this thread where I found loads of numbers for its Hemel Hempstead office (starting 01442). I found that the customer services number, 0870 7330333, goes through to 01442 456xxx numbers (see the database). The menu itself is on the 01442 number. The first layer of the menu is for 1) Mobile 2) Broadband. Selecting 2 goes to a recording giving the 0870 7330320. This suggests to me that the broadband helpline isn't operated from that office. If it was, I feel that it would put you straight through to the relevant extension as the options on 1 do. The only possible lead we have for 3's Glasgow office is an unverified number 0141 8143600 which is labelled as "Customer services - repairs/returns". This page gives: Hutchison 3G UK Glasgow (Head Office) Phone Hutchison 3G UK Limited 123 St Vincent Street Glasgow G2 5EA Tel: 08707 330 295 Fax: 0141 204 8773 So we have a fax number to go on. Other pages suggest 0141 204 8xxx numbers. 8600 may be the first one. 8630 says "Welcome to 3" after a long pause, then says the office is closed. 8645 as per 0870 7330333 general menu I've tried from 8600 to 8800. Those that aren't shown either drop out, are number unobtainable or ring unanswered. 8800 is for (what sounds like) "WA Faces and Partners", so a different company. |
Title: How i did it........ Post by aka on May 24th, 2008 at 12:11pm
Thanks for the help....
What I did was ring the local number for 3 customer services for their "mobile services" and they were more than happy to help with the BROADBAND... your broadband actually works of a mobile phone SIM which in-itself has a number (see top of monthly bill) just quote this number to the agent and they can pull up ALL your details for your broadband.... HENCE NO NEED TO RING THE 084... BROADBAND NUMBER quoted by the automated voice... just ignore it and make your selections. I just selected the mobile phone options which were relevant for my broadband eg billing enquires just press 2 and so on... once you get to the agent you just quote the mobile number and go from there. Hope this makes sense.... happy dialing :) Aka |

Title: 3 Broadband... Post by aka on May 25th, 2008 at 2:09am
For enquires about your 3 mobile broadband.................
This is the number I rang: 01442 456 050 DO NOT SELECT option 2 for broadband IGNORE this and instead select OPTION 1 (mobile service) then.... Follow the options as if you wanted them for your broadband. Eg Billing/Usage etc A few options later you will be in contact with an agent they will ask for your mobile number simply quote the number located at the top of your paper bill and then after a few security Qs, they can help you answer Qs regarding your broadband service. (If you select option 2 at the start you will be ask to redial another number or if you are a 3 customer already, dial 500 from your handset THEREFORE DO NOT SELECT OPTION 2). |
