Title: 0870 or Abroad? Post by fryer on Jun 2nd, 2008 at 7:07am
Hi,
I hope I have put this in the right place. Ive just signed up here cos I wanted to ask a question. I am amazed how many companies dont advertise they have a landline number to call, makes me so mad!! Anyway my question is about contacting Ryanair. They have an 0870 number and their landline number is in Ireland. Which would be the better number to call in this situation? Is calling abroad or calling 0870 cheaper? Hope someone knows Thanks x |

If you are calling through a landline provider (BT, TalkTalk, Sky Talk etc) then the 0870 is possibly cheaper (although these providers might do cheaper callers to Ireland - you'd have to check!)
If you are able to use some kind of call-through system (1866 is one example I think) or have some kind of VoIP service, then it is cheaper to call the Ireland number. Not sure if that helps - please post back if you need more information. |

For example, cost to Ireland is 1p/min plus 4p set up fee from 18185.
